Fette Compacting presented an impressive success story at Interpack. With the motto 'Together to the Next', the focus of the presentation was on customer orientation and collaboration. Through open discussions about innovative ideas and complex projects in the field of OSD production, the leading manufacturer of tablet presses was able to actively involve its customers and receive valuable feedback.

In addition to the new continuous dosing and mixing unit FE CPS in conjunction with an FE55 tablet press, an additional element of the outstanding product presentation was Vuframe's VR collaboration app. A separate area called 'Collaboverse' was created to symbolize close collaboration with customers and partners, while offering unlimited possibilities.

The Challenge

Before the comprehensive introduction of the Vuframe 3D platform, the trade fair planners at the industry leader were faced with a dilemma every time:

Either the entire product portfolio had to be taken to a trade fair, which entailed high logistics and stand costs, or they had to make do with graphics and print material.

Solution

The XR solution was presented for the first time at interpack and was a great success. Customers were able to put on the VR glasses and experience the FE CPS in action. In addition to viewing the machine alone, it was possible to meet up with other participants in a virtual room and interact with each other and with the exhibit. Using the augmented reality function of the Meta Quest Pro, the products could also be placed directly in the room and viewed in life-size.

With the help of an interactive touch display, visitors were also able to experience the machines that were not actually on the stand. This is a clear advantage for Fette Compacting, as the hybrid stand concept was able to focus on the new products and opportunities for encounters without compromising on information density.

After the trade fair is also before the customer meeting. Using the mobile app for smartphones and tablets, sales staff can also inspire customers with 3D visualizations in everyday life. Another step forward in the future cooperation between Fette Compacting and its customers.
