The new way of product presentation

EITEC Führungsbahnschutz-Systeme GmbH is one of the leading suppliers of protective systems and covers for mechanical engineering. SmartVu® makes it possible to present protective covers to customers virtually on site without having to transport them to the customer.

The challenge

Especially with larger products, it often involves a lot of effort and costs to present them to the customer on site.

For EITEC GmbH, it was important to find a solution that could be implemented quickly and expanded on an ongoing basis. This would allow new and individualized products to be presented directly to the customer before they go into production. In contrast to one-off projects, all content can be managed and edited on an ongoing basis via the Vuframe® platform, which is why EITEC GmbH ultimately decided to work with Vuframe.

The solution

Interactive views in 3D and augmented reality were created from the design data (CAD) of the various systems using animations.

SmartVu® enables EITEC to bring large door systems and covers to any location in the world, configure them together with the customer and demonstrate their use in real size at real locations. For sales staff in particular, SmartVu® serves as a virtual product catalog that can be demonstrated to customers and also given to them digitally.

The result

Transport and planning costs can be reduced using the virtual sales tool.

No matter how large or heavy the EITEC GmbH cover systems are - the customer can virtually place and test any product in the room with just one click. This facilitates communication with the customer and engineers and saves expensive transportation costs.
